2nd engineer aboard 54m Alloy Yachts sloop, including extensive refit periods. A fully ISM compliant yacht with up to date A/V, internet and communication systems.
Regular duties included:
- Operation and maintenance of all engine room machinery, ships tenders, and other auxiliary equipment to ISM standards.
- Day to day operation of VSAT and sat TV, working with contractors during upgrades to antennas and installation of a twin VSAT/RTS system.
- Maintenance, upgrades, and installation of hardware and software for the owner's advanced music and DJ systems.
- Maintenance and updating of ships PLCs, Dynalite lighting, and Crestron entertainment systems.
- Operation of a PADI certified Nitrox Dive Centre on board.
